Setting up a Formuler box

Formuler boxes ship with MYTV Online. Once a portal is added the box behaves like a MAG, and for that we need its MAC address first.

MYTV Online 3

  1. 1.Open MYTV Online 3 on the box.
  2. 2.Go to Content Manager, then Content Sources, then Add.
  3. 3.Choose Add Portal. That registers the box as a MAC device.
  4. 4.Give it any name, paste the portal address from your order, then Connect.

MYTV Online 2

  1. 1.Open MYTV Online 2. If it is missing, install it from the Market Store.
  2. 2.Go to Menu, then Connections, then Add Portal.
  3. 3.Give it a name, paste the portal address, then Connect.
Worth knowing. Older MYTV Online 2 versions report a different MAC prefix from the one on the sticker. Send us the address the box shows on screen, not the printed one, and we will match it.

The portal idea is the same one the MAG box guide explains, and BuzzTV uses it too under a different menu name in the BuzzTV guide. Every Formuler also runs Android underneath, so a normal player from the store is always an option.
