Setting up on Roku TV

Roku is the most closed of the television platforms, so there are two routes: a proper player, or casting from your phone.

Add IBO Player Pro

  1. 1.Open the Roku Channel Store, search for IBO Player Pro and add it.
  2. 2.Launch the app and open the Account section. Note down the MAC address and Device Key shown on screen.
  3. 3.On a phone or computer go to iboproapp.com, open Manage Playlists and sign in with that MAC address and Device Key.
  4. 4.Choose Add XC Playlist, give it a name, then enter the server, username and password from your order.
  5. 5.Back on the Roku, restart the app and select the playlist you just made.

Or cast from your phone

  1. 1.Install Web Video Cast on an Android or iOS device.
  2. 2.Open the menu, choose IPTV, then enter your playlist address.
  3. 3.Tap the cast icon and pick the Roku. Both devices have to be on the same wifi.

Roku is the one platform where the setup happens partly in a browser rather than on the television. If that feels like a lot, almost any other device is quicker: the Firestick guide and the Android guide are both a straight install.
