Setting up on a Samsung or LG television

If your television is a newer Samsung or LG you need no box and no stick. The player comes from the television's own app store.

Open the television's app store

  1. 1.Samsung: press Home, open the Apps panel, then choose the search icon.
  2. 2.LG: press Home, open the LG Content Store, then search.

Enter your details

Open the player, take the Xtream Codes option, then type in the username, password and server address. A remote control makes this slow going, so take your time over the password.

This is the tidiest setup of all because nothing is plugged in. Older sets without these apps still work with a cheap stick, which the Firestick guide walks through.
